A world-class lineup has been scheduled for the inaugural year of SOD.
The first annual speaker series features several incredible creative talents with experience in advertising, book design, branding, graphic design, music, product development, and writing. The speaker series events are open to the public and are free to members.
SOD will also be taking a trip to Western PA to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and to stop by The Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
There are also two exhibits planned for Spring 2010 that will present members with opportunities to share their design talents with the wider Central PA community. "Keys" will be a public art exhibit that provides several members an opportunity to showcase their skills in a format that is unlike anything ever seen in Central PA. "Donate" will also be a unique event for the region. However, the best part is that each of these exhibits will help to benefit other non-profits and will actively engage the public at large.
